Arletta Anderson is a Los Angeles-based movement artist, performance maker, and educator. Under the moniker Andersmith, she makes work in collaboration with writer/sound designer Adam Smith. Their work lives at the intersection of movement, theater, and live sound and has been presented nationally. As a performer she has worked closely with various artists including Gerald Casel, Lauren Simpson & Jenny Stulberg, the Rock Collection, Catherine Galasso,among others. She has guest taught at University of San Francisco, UCLA, Scripps College, Bowling Green University, Shawl-Anderson Dance Center, and Renaissance Arts Academy. Arletta is a part of the Ground Grooves teaching staff, a certified yoga instructor, and has a degree in dance from Loyola Marymount University.
