About

Elizabeth Dashiell studied in New Jersey under the direction of Michelle Wright before moving to Philadelphia in 2013 to pursue a BFA in Dance at the University of the Arts. While studying there, she performed in works by Jesse Zaritt, Katie Swords-Thurman, Sidra Bell, William Forsythe (under the direction of Douglas Becker), Jillian Peña, Doug Varone, Netta Yerushalmy, Mark Haim, Helen Simoneau, and Gallim Dance. In June 2015 Elizabeth attended the American Dance Festival where she performed repertory by the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company under the direction of Jennifer Nugent and Shen Wei Dance Arts under the direction of Sara Procopio. The following summer she traveled to Paris to perform Netta Yerushalmy’s Pictograms at the Théâtre de la Cité Internationale. During her time abroad, she studied with Min Tanaka. Since graduating in May 2017, Elizabeth moved to Brooklyn to continue her studies in, with, and around dance. She has since danced for and collaborated with Javier Padilla of The Movement Playground, Aundrea Anderson of BITEdown Collective, Moss Lovejoy, Catie Leasca, Aleixa Friere & Molly Kennedy, Patricia Rose Suarez, Sophie Tibiletti and Jessica Lam. Elizabeth is looking forward to her journey with Summation Dance!
